Dell Inspiron 8500 Display Problems
This part is needed to make the video graphics work... At home I use a docking station with a monitor. Replacement part is inexepensive ( $5 to $50 depending on where you buy it... and on a computer that was first made 5 years ago, that in itself is risky because the cables and connectors are brittle and easily break in your hands. Low and behold it worked! Any suggestions on WTF it could be? Unless you have a computer whiz friend who can get fix your LCD once you get them from DELL. Motherboard completely dead. Since then I have not been able to use the computer for more than 10 minutes, usually only about 1 min, before the screen turns black. All rights reserved.
