I'm a MS loyalist, but certainly no fanboy. I have tried all the solutions above (disabling Windows media player, ..etc( but the problem still exist.. It is random even though I can replicate by visiting the before mentioned sites. I deactivated all the Active X options and my IE8 is working perfect and will try the Firefox now.

Currently I am working with IE to see if the issue will come up because this occurs almost every time I am using Firefox.
